The Hole Conspiracy

Yes, that is a picture of Swiss Cheese.  I have finally come to the conclusion that there has been a big conspiracy about the reason there are those oh, so obvious, holes in this type of cheese. It is a conspiracy...................................

Plotted and planned....................................

By my next door neighbor, the state of Wisconsin.................

And they are proud of it...................................

There is a group of people that are behind it, and I have their picture.........................

They start to indoctrinate them off early, even from the milk stage............................

Making sure they go along with the "theory" in all stages of life...................................

There is even a picture of their leader, "The Big Cheese", in full ceremonial regalia............

They even force their inmates to pose in uniform............

It seems it all started out innocently enuf with a Swiss Chalet and their beautiful milk cows...............................................

Well, some peeps got the idea that these cows and their 'product' could be turned into a cash cow...........

And then the whole state would be rolling in dough........................................................

Even their pet cat "Scott" (LOL!..insiders know).........

Now, you say, what is the conspiracy?..Well, isn't it obvious that they were going to make their 'famous Swiss Cheese' with holes in it so that they could sell less cheese for the inflated price of an 'imported' product...all the while keeping all production in their fair state?  Enuf said conspiracy blown wide open!

Now you know the hole story!

Gnomastic Sounds After Dark

Have you ever wondered about what the strange noises are you hear after dark, but just can't quite identify and maybe the truth is you are too scared to search further for fear of what you might identify?  Just like that old saw..."Things That Go Bump in the Night"......................

Well, I finally got brave enuf to stay awake, (playing possum, of course) to try to see what was going on and making all those strange little noises.  At first I thought it was just Buford singing to himself..........

For those of you not in the "know"...Buford is our pet cricket that lives in the Fairy/Gnome Garden.
Well indeed he was signing but not just to himself.  It seems he had a band to accompany him........

It seems that the "Back Street Gnomes" had come to join in some after dark fun.  I discovered this
notice outside and that could explain the festivities...........................................

As I looked over towards the Garden I saw all these firefly lights illuminating the party.............

After further investigation I saw Phineas, the Gnome Master, reading the book of rules for after
hours parties ....................................................

And his trusty trio of helpers signing them for him.........................................................

There was also several gnomes on the outskirts looking for and trying to stop any one that might dare to intrude on the party........................

Now the music coming from the garden was a combination of............................

Upon further inspection I saw couples dancing....................................................

It looked like fun was had by all.  But, as always in a large gathering there are always a few people that just have to protest..........................................

As I watched, I wondered where these protester may have come from.  Well right next to me
I saw this kinda strange looking gnome who pointed to the sky, where I saw...........................

OH, NO!  Then I spied this poster on a tree nearby and just didn't know what to do................

The last I heard there was a search party trying to find him, but I think they had better widen their search area, if you know what I mean!

Well, at least little "Baby" fairy slept thru it all    NOT!......................................

Looks like she enjoyed the festivities, but she had better be here in the morning or some Gnome is gonna pay!

Apples and Oranges

Well, here it is September 14/2012, a day I used to think was in the far, far, future.  Ha!  Surprise!
Anyway I have been wondering, what really is the difference between "apples and oranges"...every
one of us has heard that phrase or used it at one time or another.  So, I have decided to research it.
We must always come up with a diffinetive answer to every question in our lives....right?  Ok,    so I
first started by gathering many pictures of the subjects in question...to wit.................................

An orange disquised as an apple...why?..................

Just another way to try to pass the 'difference' test.................................

Just trying to divert your attention with the cuteness of it all.....................................

Now sometimes we try to force the issue..............................................................

Do you or does anyone think that it started out as a contentious subject..........................

Personally, I think that they got so much attention that they were happy.............................

 And became the best of friends forever to go down in history as a unanswerable question......

They all came to an agreement and lived happily ever after, with occasional fake battles just
to keep up the public's interest ..........................

So I tell you, the final answer to all of this is.....................Let everyone have their own opinion.

That way everyone is happy....to a certain extent!

On Being Seventy

A few thoughts about reaching this age.  First I am surprized that I made it this far...LOL!  Thought for sure I would be pushing up daisies by 65 maximum.  I am generally a really pleasant, happy person, with occasional trips into the cruel big, wide, world that surrounds me.  That is when I tend to get really moody and thoughtful, deep thought I might add.  Drives people around me crazy but what the hay, that's all part of me being me.  I like to keep up with what is going on in this world, so I watch political stuff, mostly leftist, but
occasionally swing to the middle.  The way all this political presidential and local campaigns have been going the last few years, I have to stop and wonder where this good old country of mine is headed.  It feels to me, like we are doomed, and I feel guilty, but also glad in ways, that I don't have to stick around to see the outcome of all of the fighting that is going on between the haves and have nots.  I just don't understand,
oh, I intellectually understand the negativity that seems to be our congress and some other conservatives...they just won't sit down and work out a compromise that is good for the people that they represent.  What I do understand is that the ones that won't compromise, just don't care and that, I do not
understand on a much deeper level.  Now, the second thing that is bothering me right now is the Mayan prediction that the world is going to end on December 21, 2012.  I know and have been guilty of looking at this as a joke, but with all that I see going on all over the world it would not surprize me at all if that is indeed a plausible date for our wonderful world to just implode.  We humans were given a gift so great of all the natural resources, let alone the natural beauty of this Earth and we have, just like a little kid, used it all up and keep on refusing to try to make ourselves behave by acting responsibly, with the treasures of life we have been blessed with.  There are so many wars, arguments, hate and evil going around now I don't know how it could or even would be turned around at this point.  I think we humans have made our bed and now have to lay in it, reaping the consequences of our irresponsible behavior, mostly just for  power and the almighty dollar.  I don't worry about myself so much, it's my kids and grands and greatgrands that I worry about.  I know I am going to be with Jesus Christ when I die but I worry about the awful world my descendants will have to live in.  The prophets in the Bible predicted all of this and I personaly feel like we are in the end times right now.  Well, that is what I worry about and, just like Eyeore in Winnie the Pooh, get a little black cloud over my head that follows me around.  I feel better after putting this all down.
I really debated over putting 'pen to paper' about this for fear it would alarm my kids.  But this is life and I have always been proud of being a truth teller as I see it, and this is how I see 'it' right now.  I also wonder if just the fact that I am now 70 years of age and getting close to the end of my life that I look at things this way...something to ponder!

First Time Great Grandma

Well, I finally can calm down enuf to write about my beautiful new Great Grandson,  Jesse James...yep that is his name and he is named after both of his Grandpas....Jesse on Dad's Side and James on mom's side.

My oldest grandaughter, Kaitlyn and her hubby Juan have presented me and the rest of the family with this little bundle of joy...here are Mom and Dad!

This little guy was so anxious to meet his family that he showed himself in all his ultra sound pix.  First a pic of his cute little face............................

Then a pic of his "big" little foot pressing on Mom's belly, just anxious to get out......................................
Isn't that the craziest thing?  I love it...it looked like he was going to have humungous feet but in all actuality they were just normal size...for a baby that is.  LOL!  I love baby feet, and have always been known to nibble on a few baby toes...LOL!..

Here are Jesse's little feet after a couple of weeks.

This little guy made a huge (wet) impression on his daddy right after a bath.........................................
Sorry about the sideways pic, but I guess I forgot to rotate it when I resized it...
(crazy old lady trying to be all techy)....LOL!.......................

Here is a better pic of Daddy and Son......................................

Since I'm showing off pix of the family, here is Great Uncle Tom, Great Aunt Kim, and Grandma posing with Mom and Jesse in the front yard.......................................................................

Here is a close up of the new Grandma and her precious little Grand Baby...................................

Well, I have a pic of little Jesse's future with his ever so ardent Anaheim Angels baseball fan, Daddy,
he even has binkies with the Angels logo...LOL!
Sure hope he can throw a fast pitch to Daddy..........

Well, as I'm sure you realize I could go on forever with the pictures just like you always see the jokes about people with new babies, to show off...

I will show a laugh, one of my favs.......................................
Now, I want to add a few things I want Jesse to know and the whole world to see.................................

                                   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All of this posting is just a letter written from the heart of a very happy Great Grandma, just for my precious little Jesse James, with the great big beautiful smile..............................................
You make me as happy as
"Winne the Pooh"
